Vtg 1970s 11” H Handcrafted Lacquered Solid Wood Chinoiserie Diorama Jewelry Box

This chinoiserie-style wood jewelry box has the most beautiful details and measures 11” H x 10 ¾” W x 5 ¼” D. Depicting a landscape scene with pagodas, flying and resting cranes, and mountains on each front panel handcrafted of natural cork, it is a true work of art! Look closely at each panel as each one has a different intricate design! The front panels open with two small brass leaf handles and are secured with brass hinges to show a bold red patterned interior fabric. It also has a bottom drawer so you can store some of your favorite and most treasured items. The design also features hand-painted flowers on each side and the top with bamboo details. It sits elevated on four triangular wood “feet.” Handcrafted of natural solid lacquered wood and in excellent vintage condition.
